To be successful in this role you need proven record of operating in complex sourcing projects, negotiation and supplier development initiatives. You have knowledge in following areas:
• Minimum 10 years of working experience as purchaser in Real Estate • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in leading team and managing people. • Wide mix of categories in real estate, especially in construction, facility service, rebuild field. • Fluent in English both written and spoken • Excellent business knowledge, understanding of key performance measurement used to plan, follow up and steer the business with a customer-centric approach • Deep knowledge of market specific conditions and macro-economic trends
A DAY IN YOUR LIFE WITH US
The Sourcing Manager will lead, steer and develop the sourcing agenda and ensure an effective and efficient procurement team will deliver to the total needs of the business striving for volume and economies of scale, across categories for a group of 4 countries (Korea, Japan, Australia, New Zealand) that are part of the Asia cluster. In this role, you’ll : • Execute on the category plan and priorities • Build and maintain partnerships with key suppliers and drive supplier development • Lead sourcing projects and through proactive market monitoring give input about sourcing options • Create transparency of information, break down silos and facilitate free flow of ideas across teams and organisations • Secure cross-organisational readiness and continued business growth in terms of competence, performance and succession through enabling an end-to-end approach. You’ll lead the development of the team based on the organisational and people development direction to secure the right competences, performance and succession.
Your location will be at the IKEA Service office in Korea and you will report to our Category Manager.
